A HYBRID SINGLE-ENGINE DOUBLE CABIN YACHT WITH TECHNOLOGY THAT MAKES GREENLINE TRULY UNIQUE IN THE WORLD OF YACHT DESIGN.
The Greenline 39 redefines modern boating by offering hybrid diesel power, a powerful solar array, and two 11 kW lithium polymer battery banks to keep you off the grid and out on the water longer with little need to go to a marina except for occasional provisioning. The Greenline’s unique power system incorporates an integral inline electric motor/generator with a fuel-sipping Yanmar 4LV 250HP diesel that cruises easily at 10-14 knots with a top speed of 18. This engine is a collaboration between Greenline and Yanmar. From its inception by J&J Design, the GL39 was created as a super displacement low drag hybrid hull to offer unapparelled efficiency on the water ( 3 nautical miles per gallon at 7.5 knots). In diesel mode, the boat is supplied with constant 120 volt power for all onboard appliances and you’ll always arrive with a fully charged battery. The powerful rooftop solar array charges daily so there’s no real need to plug in at the dock. You can cruise silently in electric Eco mode with no fumes or engine noise when cruising at slower speeds. This is useful in wake zones or when leaving and arriving in marinas or anchorages. Your friends and other boaters will appreciate this. In electric eco mode this 39 has a range of approximately 30+ miles. Electriic mode also serves as a get home drive should the diesel ever have a problem. The hybrid system increases fuel economy and reduces engine hours and maintenance on the diesel. When you add it all up, the Greenline 39 is simply the most technologically advanced and environmentally responsible yacht available today.
