Maverick is a well-cared for Sportfish originally built as Loot Lam she has successfully fished the world with only 4 prior owners in her 53 year history. The boat had a complete refit including a full repower in 2017 at the world-renowned Palm Beach Rybovich Yard. What sets this 45 ahead of her peers is her original build. Maverick is a cold molded, jig-built, hull with an extra layer of bottom glassed on the interior and exterior with heavy woven fiberglass mat. The first owner’s demands were simple durability, range and economy required to fish safely in remote destinations. The Loot Lam/Maverick was unstoppable carrying 900 USG of fuel she was and is capable of going anywhere. Today she is sitting in Costa Rica with a motivated owner who has enjoyed her ownership and his business but family comes first.
