Runaway

About

Runaway was built by the Jarvis Newman Boatyard in Southwest Harbor, Maine and finished by Jim Rockefeller of Bald Mountain Boatworks in Camden, Maine, in 1972 with lovely proportions and craftsmanship.  For most of her life she has sailed the Maine Coast with a few excursions south.  Her low hour gas engines provide a quiet ride and good maneuverability.  Her current owners have done a significant refit of not only paint and varnish, but also steering, rudders, stuffing boxes, bilge pumps, etc.  Runaway offers a terrific layout for cruising and day trips, spacious interior and outside space. She is a stunning Downeast traditional flybridge cruiser.
