SOMERSET, Contract #442, stands as one of the final and most desirable Trumpy's ever built. Originally commissioned by textile magnate Gerrish Milliken, Jr. and launched as SPINDLE, she later became SOMERSET—a name carried through to her third / current owner. In 2012–2013 she underwent a comprehensive, keel-up restoration that brought her to modern standards while preserving her classic Trumpy elegance. The refit included a new bottom, keel frames and floors, fully rebuilt engines, new generators, tanks, plumbing, wiring, and electrical systems, along with an all-new interior, wall coverings, and paint. SOMERSET showcases the craftsmanship, grace, and prestige that define the Trumpy legacy. She is turnkey, exceptionally maintained, and presents with no known deficiencies—ready for her next owner to enjoy immediately.
